Rosie O'Donnell posts rare photo of son Blake, 21, three years after reuniting with troubled daughte

ROSIE O’Donnell posted a rare photo of her 21-year-old son Blake.

The 59-year-old shared photos of some of her kids three years after she reunited with troubled daughter Chelsea, 23.

Rosie took to Instagram on Wednesday to upload three photos featuring her daughter Dakota, eight, son Blake and his girlfriend, Teresa.

The first snap captured Blake smiling with his arm around Dakota, while the second photo was a selfie of Blake and Teresa wearing face masks.

The final picture featured Rosie smiling for the camera next to her two children and Teresa.

Alongside the photos, the A League of Their Own actress wrote: “we r family ❤️👋🏽😜 #la.”

Rosie shares son Parker, 26, Chelsea, Blake and daughter Vivienne, 18, with ex Kelli Carpenter.

The actress and Kelli tied the knot in 2004, though they split sometime around 2007.

She shares Dakota with ex Michelle Rounds, who she was married to from 2012-2015.

Michelle sadly committed suicide in September 2017.

STRAINED RELATIONSHIP

The sweet family photos come three years after Rosie reunited with her troubled daughter Chelsea.

The drama with Chelsea began in 2015 when the then 17-year-old went missing.

New Jersey police found her one week later at the house of Steven Sheerer, who was 25-year-old alleged heroin addict.

At the time, Rosie’s representative said Chelsea suffers from mental illness and had gone off her medication when she went missing.

According to PEOPLE, the rep said: “Chelsea, like millions of people, lives with mental illness.

“It has been a difficult road for Chelsea and her family and they just want her back safe. [Rosie and Chelsea] have a good relationship. Rosie loves Chelsea very much.”

In September 2015, Chelsea moved out of Rosie's home and chose to live with her birth mother.

They later reconciled in August 2016, with the comedian confirming the reunion by posting a selfie of the mother-daughter duo on Instagram.

However, Rosie and Chelsea once again became estranged and regularly made comments about their strained relationship to the press.

'RECONNECTED'

Then in 2018, the actress revealed in an interview with PEOPLE that she had "reconnected" with Chelsea.

As of August 2020, the two seemed to be on good terms as Rosie wished Chelsea a happy birthday on Instagram.

Alongside a photo of Chelsea cradling her daughter Skylar, Rosie wrote: "happy 23rd birthday chelsea - i love u ♥️."
